Le Mirage, Hedonism II and Grand Lido have different settings and different rules
Being able to take your clothes off does not make every hotel the same, my loves. Decide whether you want a small cliffside stay, an all inclusive resort with organised entertainment or a naturist enclave within a larger complex.
These three properties publish clothing optional or naturist policies. Read them before booking. My Jamaica clothing optional stay story is where I share the experience behind my preference for Le Mirage.
What does Le Mirage offer on the Negril cliffs?

Le Mirage describes itself as a clothing optional, adults only property on Negril’s West End cliffs. Its twelve rooms face the Caribbean, with poolside rooms on the first floor, king rooms on the second and larger deluxe rooms on the third.
Is Le Mirage an all inclusive resort?
Le Mirage includes continental breakfast, rather than an all inclusive meal plan. Its amenities page lists an infinity pool, WiFi, parking and a front desk open from 7.30am to 6pm. There is no 24 hour concierge.
A twelve room property gives you a different set of choices from a large resort. Consider the meal arrangements and the stairs as carefully as the view. The hotel’s room information helps you choose a floor.
Where can guests go without clothes at Le Mirage?
The hotel’s current website confirms its clothing optional policy. Ask the hotel about the pool, dining spaces and any restrictions that matter to your stay. A private balcony and a shared space need different consideration.
How does nudity work at Hedonism II?

Hedonism II has both clothing optional and nude beach and pool areas. Its published rules say guests on the nude side must be nude, while cover ups are required in restaurants, the lobby and several other public areas.
Can you eat nude at Hedonism II?
Hedonism II requires clothing in all restaurants, covering the chest, buttocks and genitals. The resort’s dining policy is clear about this. Pack something for meals even if you plan to spend much of the day without it.
What kind of stay is Hedonism II?
Hedonism II is an all inclusive resort with 280 rooms, meals, drinks, water activities and entertainment. Its visitor information also describes guest passes, which are limited and may be unavailable when occupancy is high.
For boundaries and consent, read the rules yourself. The resort says there should be no pressure to participate in anything that makes you uncomfortable. That matters more than an advert promising that anything goes.
What are Grand Lido Negril’s naturist rules?

Grand Lido Negril describes a clothing free, adults only resort for guests aged 21 and over. Its current property information lists 26 ocean facing suites, butler service and access to Royalton Negril and Hideaway at Royalton Negril.
Can you visit the adjoining Royalton resorts without clothes?
Grand Lido requires guests to be fully clothed when using the adjoining Royalton and Hideaway facilities. Read the Grand Lido guest guidelines before planning how you will use the wider complex.
What are Grand Lido’s photography and behaviour rules?
Grand Lido prohibits guest photography, video recording and webcam broadcasts. Guests must carry a towel to sit on. The naturist guidelines also prohibit explicit sexual behaviour in public areas and advances that make other guests uncomfortable.
Naturist travel still has rules. Choose the property whose setting and boundaries suit you, then confirm the room, meal plan and cancellation terms for your dates.
Where can you compare other Jamaica stays?
My Le Mirage stay story gives more of the personal experience. The Negril hotel guide compares beach and cliffside accommodation, while Negril or Montego Bay helps with choosing a base.
Great Huts is a separate Port Antonio option, but its current website does not establish a naturist policy. Contact it before booking a stay for that purpose. This guide covers the three policies above rather than claiming to list every clothing optional possibility in Jamaica.
